Prof. Christos Delidakis (coordinator), is a professor at the University of Crete since 1993 (full professor since 2008) and affiliated researcher at FORTH-IMBB. He is a recognized expert in Drosophila research with accomplishments in the genetics of neural development. He is a coorganizer the biannual EMBO Workshop Molecular and Developmental Biology of Drosophila “Crete meeting”, for the past 2 decades.
